In the frontline of undertaking industrial transfer in coastal areas, Rucheng EDZ has fully given play to its regional and policy advantages, made a concerted effort to build a “Five Good” park, and achieved fruitful results. 

 

In the ranking of industrial parks in the first two years of the province, it has achieved rapid progress from 120th to 67th, becoming the park with the fastest progress in the province. 

 

 

At the project site of Hunan Guanying Science and Technology Co., Ltd., more than 20 workers are busy leveling and hardening the site. Other workers are busy with the decoration of plants and installation of facilities in the new plants. 

 

Shen Henghua, head of the company introduced that the project covers a land area of 103.1 mu (around 68,733.33 square meters) and a total planned construction area of 86,500 square meters, with a planned investment of about 206 million yuan. The construction of the Phase I project was started in September 2021.

 

In less than one year, 50,000 square meters of factory buildings and 4,000 square meters of comprehensive buildings had been completed, presenting good and fast progress.

 

In May this year, the construction of Phase II project was started. Unexpectedly, the area was continuously hit by rainstorm and flood in June. Since the weather improved, over 70 workers have been assigned every day to complete the project as scheduled. 

 

After two years of efforts, Rucheng EDZ has taken on a new look. 

 

 

 

The road network has been expanded in Rucheng EDZ. It has completed the construction of 11 roads including Xingye Avenue, Xingke Road and Xingsheng Road, with a mileage of more than 8 kilometers, forming an urban-rural integration framework with the counties and townships. 

 

The sewage treatment plant has been improved, and the drainage pipe network with a total length of 20 kilometers has been completed. The construction area of the plant has increased from 500,000 square meters to 2.5 million square meters. 

 

This year, 250,000 square meters of new plants were built, with an investment of 1.543 billion yuan, accounting for 86.28% of the annual task. 

 

In the spacious and bright factory, dozens of workers are busy on the assembly lines of Daqi Huasheng Electronics (Chenzhou) Co., Ltd..

 

As a long-standing company, Daqi Huasheng Electronics is a mirror of the sustainable development of Rucheng EDZ. The company started production in August 2013, specializing in the production of electronic toys. And its products are mainly exported to Europe, America and other places, with an annual output value of 30 to 50 million yuan. 

 

 

 

Thanks to labor-intensive and simple operation, the company provides more than 200 job opportunities for the middle-aged and old people in the surrounding towns such as Quanshui, Jingpo and Daping, offering each employee a monthly salary of 3,000 to 4,000 yuan. 

 

The flexible mechanism enables villagers to work nearby while taking care of their family members. 

 

New plants are also flourishing. In the factories of Rucheng EDZ, production lines are running at full load and workers are busy with production. 

 

To achieve the annual goal of “20 enterprises completed and 20 enterprises put into operation”, Rucheng EDZ not only fully promotes the project construction, but also joins hands with enterprises to accelerate the high-quality development. 

 

Rucheng EDZ has been making continuous efforts to optimize the business environment. 

 

It has taken a series of measures and policies to stabilize the economy at all levels. For instance, 32 excellent cadres have been selected to serve as enterprise service specialists and project service specialists. Therefore, a one-to-one service mechanism has taken shape.  

 

 

 

Up to now, the service specialists have visited and served enterprises and key projects for more than 300 times. 54 problems have been collected and 43 of them have been solved. The rest are being solved in an orderly and effective manner. The quality of services is being improved to boost the development of Rucheng EDZ .
